Big T Projects is a hospitality development consultancy that helps bring ambitious ideas to life – from early concept and feasibility through to the design, build and pre-opening process. We support founders, operators and investors to shape and deliver distinctive restaurants, members’ clubs and hospitality-led destinations.
With more than 25 years’ experience in hospitality development, Tanya spent 12 years working alongside Nick Jones as Development Director and later Group Projects Director at Soho House during a period of significant international expansion. During that time she played a central role in shaping several of the group’s most influential projects, including Soho Farmhouse, The Ned and Soho Works, as well as numerous other openings and concepts internationally.
Alongside this work, Tanya has maintained a collaboration of more than two decades with the Michelin-starred The River Café. Through Big T Projects, she leads development projects for a range of clients — from rural estates and historic buildings to urban mixed-use schemes and retail-based hospitality.
The consultancy works across projects ranging from standalone restaurants and hospitality venues to complex development schemes where hospitality plays a central role, often combining restaurants and bars, rooms, members’ clubs, spa, co-working and other concepts within a single site. Our work spans everything from listed buildings and farmyards to new-build developments and office conversions.
Working closely with founders and their teams, Big T Projects provides both strategic advisory and hands-on leadership through the development process. By bringing together commercial, design and operational perspectives, the consultancy helps shape ideas into coherent, enduring hospitality businesses — ensuring that brand, place and operation are considered together from the very beginning.
